Role Summary:
As the Fractional CFO at WECHEER, you will dedicate 30-50% of your capacity to support the company’s financial strategy and operations during a pivotal growth phase. Acting as a strategic partner to the founders, your focus will be on fundraising, financial planning, cap table management, and optimizing operational efficiency to drive sustainable scaling.

Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising & Financial Planning

  • Develop and lead a robust financial model for the Series A investment round.
  • Collaborate with founders on pitch deck financials and investor materials.
  • Provide strategic guidance for investor relations, term sheet negotiations, and due diligence processes.
  • Support cap table management and equity planning, ensuring alignment with fundraising goals.

2. Operational Finance

  • Improve and guide KPI reporting processes and financial workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance manager to streamline operations and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Establish and monitor financial controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and new certifications as required.

3. Strategic Leadership

  • Advise on long-term financial planning, including M&A scenarios and potential exits.
  • Offer insights into financial strategy, market expansion, and scaling for SaaS operations.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy discussions, aligning with broader revenue growth goals (secondary focus).

4. Investor Relations & Board Reporting

  • Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for the board and investors.
  • Ensure transparent and effective communication of financial performance and strategic plans to stakeholders.


Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Proven experience in fundraising for SaaS startups, with a successful VC-backed Series A or later-stage funding round.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV) and scaling SaaS operations.
  • Prior experience with early-stage startups, particularly in Enterprise SaaS.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and experience in preparing for certifications.


Preferred:

  • A proven track record in Fractional CFO roles, ideally leading to IPO or exit.
  • Experience working with global, remote, and distributed teams.




Workload & Structure:

  • Part-time commitment of 30-50%, with flexibility during peak periods such as fundraising.
  • Remote role, with occasional travel for key meetings or events.
  • Compensation: A mix of cash and equity based on experience and engagement.
