Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer, to strengthen our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in manual testing and some experience in automation testing. As part of our QA team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our SaaS product by conducting thorough manual tests and integrating automation strategies.
This is a permanent, full time position, on a freelance/B2B contract.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans to ensure product quality.
- Focus on manual testing (80%). Perform manual testing on our SaaS platform to identify bugs, glitches, and irregularities for Web and Mobile Applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and refine product functionality.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
- Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate, using QA tools and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, test strategies and automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and scope.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer (3+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes for Web and Mobile applications.
- Knowledge of documenting and managing defects in specialized software (preference is Atlassian/JIRA).
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Familiarity with SQL queries is preferred.
- Awareness of automation testing tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
